Nearly 10% of flights were canceled on Sunday and nearly eight hundred flights were delayed. Before the storm hit the company had paused departures for regular maintenance.
Delta Airlines spokesperson said that the climatic condition in Florida has caused a greater disruption to airline operation on Saturday. Nearly a fifth of all the airline company’s schedules was delayed or canceled. Major airline companies like Delta, American, and Alaska Airlines are walking out at the airports as their union is fighting against management for better pay.
