The US Announces Mega COVID Vaccination Aid Worldwide

In a recent announcement, President Biden has confirmed USA’s initiative to supply roughly 25 million COVID vaccines worldwide.

The mega distribution of COVID vaccines is expected to start in the last week of June.

The vaccines will be dispatched in two batches; a quarter would be kept reserved for specific nations, while the remaining three quarters would be distributed through global health organizations.

The US Announces COVID Vaccination Aid Worldwide

This is only the first of the many vaccine distribution drives that the US hopes to accelerate in the coming months, confirm sources.

Addressing some concerns over this benevolent act of sharing vaccines, President Biden has emphasized the USA’s genuine inclination to end the pandemic as quickly as possible.

The USA expects no favors or concessions in return for the vaccines it would share in the coming months, assured President Biden.

“We are sharing these vaccines to save lives and to lead the world in bringing an end to the pandemic, with the power of our example and with our values.” Biden also added, “We are sharing these doses not to secure favors or extract concessions.”

Reliable sources on the grounds of anonymity have also disclosed that the Biden government has been battling substantial pressure from multiple sources insisting on vaccine sharing.

With extensive vaccination drives happening in the US and cooperation from citizens, infections have significantly lowered in the country.

However, several other countries are still witnessing new cases every day and losing this battle against the pandemic.

According to the latest updates from The Washington Post COVID tracker, most US citizens have been vaccinated against the deadly virus with at least the first dose. Contrary to the US, several countries have a low vaccination percentage of 1 in ten individuals.
